WHAT IS BUKL?

BUKL is an online platform that takes the hassle out of car maintenance! We offer a simple and convenient way for vehicle owners to find a trusted local professional, schedule their service, and find and leave them reviews.

WHY USE BUKL?

We take the headache out of car repairs and maintenance. Our approach to achieving this harmony is a result of the ease, convenience, and security we bring to every transaction that takes place on our platform. This way, you can always rely on BUKL to support your vehicle maintenance related needs.

WHY PURCHASE SERVICES THROUGH BUKL?

BUKL meticulously vets each vendor who wants to join our platform for the purpose of offering a service. Pair this vetting process with a risk reducing payment system and client reviews and the result is a convenient and reliable final outcome every time.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP?

A full refund will be provided at the expense of the vendor once the details of the refund claim are revealed through investigation by our consumer dispute escalation team. To support this process, we recommend that all communication with your selected vendor is completed through the BUKL platform.

WHAT SHOULD A THOROUGH REVIEW INCLUDE?

A thorough review should include the following:

  1. Case specific information about the problem you faced.

  2. Information about the vendors approach and solution to your problem.

  3. Information about the timelines your vendor followed and if they met your expectations.

  4. Information about the quality of workmanship and your satisfaction with the service that your vendor provided.

Billing:

WHEN DO I PAY FOR THE SERVICE?

Final payment will be provided upon satisfactory completion of the service agreed upon with your vendor.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards.

WHY SHOULDN’T I PROVIDE PAYMENT TO A VENDOR OUTSIDE OF THE BUKL PLATFORM (GRAY MARKET TRANSACTIONS)?

Operating outside of the BUKL platform voids protection against rework costs, damage fees, and financial disputes with vendors. BUKL is on your side to ensure that you are not treated unfairly through the process as vendors who display this behaviour are subject to fines that require payment to maintain their continued access to the BUKL platform.


BUKL has a strong policy against gray market transactions as this often puts consumers at a high risk of fraud. Gray market transactions include, but are not limited to, paying using the following methods outside of the BUKL platform (i.e. via PayPal, cash, check, credit card, Square, Bitcoin, Venmo, or any other method of payment).

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE A REFUND?

All refunds will be processed within 3 days of the date of the final decision from our consumer dispute escalation team.

WHAT IS A CHANGE ORDER?

A change order is what vendors use to notify you of additional repairs being either recommended or mandatory.

WHAT KIND OF PARTS DOES BUKL USE?

BUKL works exclusively with major part manufacturers and distributors in select regions. All parts are covered under minimum manufacturer warranty, offering the confidence around reliability and performance through meeting or exceeding OEM specifications.

DOES BUKL USE REFURBISHED PARTS?

BUKL only works with new select parts that meet BUKL minimum warranty standards.

CAN I USE MY OWN PARTS?

BUKL handles all part selection delivery on your behalf. This allows for proper part selection and delivery schedules, all while giving you the peace of mind that your selected auto shop will be ready when you arrive with no hiccups.

Scheduling:

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

You can schedule your appointment right through the BUKL homepage. You start with your vehicle's year, make, and model, then select the service you would like to perform, select the ideal auto shop near you, and schedule a convenient time in the following 24 hour - 2 week period.

DO YOU OFFER INSTANT BOOKINGS?

BUKL provides next day repairs, at the discretion of a auto shops days of operation (weekends and evenings). An appointment can be scheduled from up to 24 hours in advance and up to two weeks out.

WHAT IF I NEED TO RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT?

If you require an alternative arrival date or time for your appointment, we ask that you give 24 hour notice prior to any scheduled appointments. Appointments within the 24 hour window will be unable to edit booking details.

WHAT IF THE MECHANIC IS NOT READY FOR ME WHEN I GET THE AUTO SHOP?

Please allow for up to a 30 minute buffer for an auto shop to start the service on your vehicle. Sometimes mechanics get caught in a tricky repair that leads to their entire day being pushed. While BUKL works closely with auto shops to guarantee our users appointments, we also want them to take the time necessary to make sure your repair is done right.

Warranty:

WHAT IF I NEED TO BRING MY CAR BACK TO THE MECHANIC?

Email us at [email protected] with the reason you need to bring your vehicle back to the auto shop and we will schedule it on your behalf. We do this to ensure your visit is worth while, and id any coordination or procurement of parts is needed we can take care of it ahead of time.

DO BUKL PARTS HAVE WARRANTY?

All BUKL parts have both manufacturer warranty, and auto shop warranty for installation defects. BUKL seeks to offer the highest and most consistent part quality to our customers, and this starts with working with selected distributors.

Scenarios:

WHAT IF I CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT?

For appointments booked more than 24 hours out, we request that you give us 24 hours notice of cancellation prior to a scheduled appointment to avoid a $25 cancelation fee. For appointments booked for service within 24 hours there will be a $25 cancelation fee.

WHAT IF MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON / I DON'T KNOW WHAT’S WRONG WITH MY CAR?

If you are unsure what is wrong with your vehicle, you can schedule a diagnostic appointment with an auto shop to review your car in depth and provide a fix. While the diagnostic fee is fixed, the price of the repair will be subject the nature of the problem.

WHAT IF THE MECHANIC CAN’T REPAIR THE INSPECTED PROBLEM, OR DOES NOT KNOW WHAT WRONG AFTER INSPECTION?

Sometimes a diagnosed problem may not be that auto shops area of expertise, or parts may be unavailable. In this scenario BUKL will help you find the right mechanic on the platform to complete the repair through sending special requests on your behalf.

WHY SHOULD I SHARE MY LISTING ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Your listing is linked to a referral code that benefits both the referrer and the referee. Everyone who uses your 15% savings promo code also earns you a 15% discount off of your next purchase, providing you with a significant incentive to refer your friends.
